Weather
Cold, windy with snow in the am. Snow subsided around 10 am. W winds 20-30 around 10,000'
Snowpack
About 3-4' new snow this week. Settled about 85cm One ECT8 down 35cm on subtle mid-storm interface. N aspect at 9,200' The scales have finally tipped from windless, blower powder to a fair bit of wind slab on N thru S aspects and cross-loaded slopes. We've now got a slab everywhere but the most protected slopes, and it's sitting on the uber-fluff.
Avalanche
Multiple skier triggered pockets on S aspects. Only on steep rolls and they did not have much legs at all. Super soft slabs about 30-40cm. May be considerably thicker up higher. We did not get much above 10k today. We did see some very small natural SS on N aspects around 9200'. 20-40cm
