Weather

Overcast. Flurries most of the day. Picked up to S1 around 3pm.

Snowpack

N/NW aspect. One collapse near treeline at the base of a steeper slope. Otherwise no obvious signs of instability. Quick pole probe should a snowpack deeper than 150cm near treeline.

Avalanche

Saw the slide in the photo from across the valley. East aspect, below treeline. N/NW aspect also had evidence of a slide just below the ridge. Already covered by new snow.
