Weather

Blustery and snowy as the storm approached. Precipitation intensity ramped up throughout the day, reaching S2-3 by 3PM.

Snowpack

Verified very weak layers beneath the storm snow. First 2-3" fluffy inches of new snow were enough to gouge into facets below the surface in steep terrain. 1-2" of lightly drifted snow created enough cohesion for cracking to start.
