Weather

Downright hot in the sun, but north shaded areas still holding pretty cold snow.

Snowpack

4-6” of snow from last Saturday is skiing pretty good on top of snowpack, but surprisingly not totally bonded to the snowpack yet.

Avalanche

one very small slab popped out (10’ wide, 5’ long, D0.5) on a steep 45 deg North facing area. It didn’t cause any trouble but was surprising. It was in the recent snow from Last weekend that hadn’t bonded to the old snow yet. It would make me think twice about skiing bigger lines yet.
