Weather

Temps in the mid-upper 20's, mostly cloudy with light-moderate snowfall throughout the day. 8-10" accumulated at 10,500' by 1700. Lt-Mod wind from the west, decreasing in the afternoon. Visible transporting snow at NTL elevations. ATL obscured.

Snowpack

The storm snow was well bonded to the mix of interface surfaces that I observed. Anything other than north has a strong melt-freeze layer below the storm snow. No cracking, collapsing, or storm slab on small terrain features up to 40* steepness. Based on weather obs, I would assume that small-medium sized wind slabs ATL would be a concern.
