First night with sub freezing temperatures in the after three days of above freezing temps. The day was partly cloudy day, with temps around freezing and light winds.
Snowpack
The snowpack was isothermal and between 60 cm deep on W and 75 cm deep on the NW aspect. The upper 8-10 cm snow surface was porous and unsupportive. On W aspect, the snowpack below the MFcr was 4F, 2 mm, WG. On NW aspect, the layer and the bottom of the snowpack and under the MFcr are F hard 2 mm WG. The layer between is 1F, 1mm, WG. See the image for more details. In areas that avalanched with mitigation, the snowpack is thinner to melted.
