Weather

Calm, Clear/scattered at 11200 on the Peak. Approx. Dug pit on due S. aspect.

Snowpack

Notable MF crusts 15cm, 45cm and 60cm from ground. As seen in photo, CT10SC on first test on the 60cm with subsequent taps creating sudden collapses on 45cm layer at 16 taps and ground at 23. Test was replicated with CT11SC on the same layer of concern. Pit dug at 11200'. sliding surface appeared to be buried SH but the loupe was forgotten at the car.

Avalanche

From Parking area on Yule Cr. noted large crown at the top of the Alleys, maybe 4-5' thick running into and through dense trees to lookers left. Appeared to have been triggered by windloading and was a sympathetic slide to a much smaller one. Not sure of date of slide maybe yesterday or Tuesday evening.
