Avalanche
We remote triggered a slab avalanche on a northwest-facing slope on the north ridge of Mt. Braddock at around 11,100 ft. Four of us skied (one at a time) to the left of a small rib that separated a 28-degree slope from a much steeper pitch. The 5th skier remote triggered a slab avalanche than ran to the skier’s right of the rib, into a treeless gully. Nobody was caught or injured. We heard collapses in the snowpack as we toured up and observed large basal facets, hence our decision to ski low-angle terrain. We avoided skiing under wind-loaded or steep slopes. We did not approach the area where the slide occurred to measure the crown. I would estimate it as an R2/3-D2. Approx. location: 40.4857, -105.9138
