Temps in the mid to upper 40's at 11,500' and increasing W wind with FEW clouds at 0900

HS surprised me maxing out around 8' in the SZ of Waterhole #1 on the N side of the waterhole gulley feature. Profile work in nearby, similar terrain has been in the 4-5' range. That 4-5' was the depth on the margins adjacent to and ~50' below that max depth location. Good corn at 11,600' at 0900. Above that elevation surface on W and SW facing slopes from 12000' was still firm and icy with PF and PS at 0. Lots of melt this week with creeks and ditches audibly flowing in the upper Roaring Fork
