Rapidly deteriorating stability as new snow accumulated with strong winds in the afternoon creating very tender slab conditions.

Avalanche

Avalanche was unwitnessed rider triggered in a rope closure area. Debris pile and crown was discovered by Ski Patrol on sweep. Area was beacon searched, probed , Dog searched , Recco searched. SS AR R-2 D-1 . 10300' NE aspect.
