Snowpack
Total depth 95 cm. We observed a deteriorating crust at about 30-35cm from the ground last Thursday. It's lost most of it's strength and has gone from 1F+/P to 4F+. The snow above the crust has matured from F+ to 1F+ as a wind slab has formed during this cycle. The Basal facets are pretty much the same at 1-2cm and 4F hardness. The Facets closest to the ground are rounding and "warm" as they can be compressed into a cohesive "ball" with some water present. The facets dry out quickly and become bouncy and sugary about 5cm up all the way to 30cm and the crust.
