Weather
Clear skies with temperatures well above freezing. Low/no wind.
Snowpack
Generally about 1 to 1.5 meters of snow below treeline. There was a big giant slab with facets (depth hoar below). The facets were hard to trigger in column tests, but Propagation Saw Tests had shortcut lengths. Even on the northerly aspect, there was a zipper crust that had surface hoar above. Southerlies were wet at the surface with ski penetration about 10-15cm. At the top of right chute we felt two small collapses with 7 people stood at a thin area of the slope.
Avalanche
Saw a couple of slides in the alpine that looked to have run with the wind event over the weekend.
