Weather
Mostly cloudy through the day, with a few breaks allowing better visibility and sun. Calm wind.
Snowpack
In this area of Brush Creek, the 2/2 interface was down ~30cm on average. The slab above was soft, mostly F hard with perhaps a little 4F just above the interface. On ENE and NE aspects, the 2/2 interface was SH up to 1cm in size. ECTN test results, but remotely triggered avalanches. Collapses were fairly quiet, and I often didn't know I had remotely triggered an avalanche until I had the right vantage to see that an avalanche had released. I got a couple of remotely triggered D1's on an SW aspect down in a drainage. The aspect doesn't fit the mold. These could have been some lingering storm slab issues, or perhaps there was SH down in the drainage.
Avalanche
Remotely triggered 3 D1.5 soft slabs and a few smaller D1's. SH at the 2/2 interface was the most problematic weak layer. There were several other natural avalanches that have released in the last week up to D2 in size. The larger avalanches had released where there was additional wind-loading.
