Mayflower Gulch, Gold Hill ridge NE aspect at 12000'. 1400-1530 high thin overcast, sun visible. S1 snow east wind 5 gusting 20mph
Snowpack
120cm deep, mostly .5-1mm facets, variable from 4F - P hardness. Bottom 30cm 1-2mm 4F facets. ECTP 13 on a 70cm softer layer, surprising! Pulled that layer and tried to pull out the remaining block on the 30cm base of larger facets, it was surprisingly stubborn!
