Snowpack
HS increases the further west in the Indian Peaks one travels. In the area we observed: HS: 60-90cm Boot Pen: 65cm Ski Pen: 45cm A weak and unsupportive snowpack. Various fist hardness facets layers, with a 4f “faceting crust” 40cm above ground. This layer caps basal facets (2-3mm).
