Weather

Snowing consistently most of the day. Probably around 12" of new snow total by 4pm on a variable base.

Snowpack

Frequent and widespread large, rumbling collapses. The terrain we traveled in did not exceed 25 degrees but we felt that similar, steep terrain certainly was capable of producing avalanches. No avalanche activity was observed, though visibility was limited. Curiously, we were unable to remotely trigger some steep east facing slopes that we traveled above despite being able to produce collapses above them - but we also weren't willing to get too close.
