Snowpack
Freezing rain event on Friday evening 11/4 - 11/5 left a considerable clear ice layer. 21" total snowpack. Snowpack was divided into thirds. 7" at the bottom with a 3/4" sun crust. Then another 7" with the ice crust then another 6" of beautiful pow on top. Crust was easily broken. This crust was present on every aspect that we traveled on. We had crust in town at 6800' and up to 9500'.
