Butler Gulch, N aspect @ 11,400ft. CLR skies gave way to OVC after noon. Temps in the teems with light winds out the West.

Snowpack

Butler Gulch, N aspect @ 11,400ft. HS 112cm. CTH 25, column failing on the basal facets. Top 30cm of snpx had two crust facet layers that were very reactive ( CTE 3 ) . 60cm pencil hard mid pack. All this resting on 12cm of 4F- Basal facets. Butler is quite skied out and could use a refresh. Skiing is a mixed bag of stiff wind slab to bottom less facets.
