Weather

Pockets of snow and sun with a generally light SW wind. The sun felt warm but was short lived. Waves of intense snowfall came periodically.

Snowpack

I traveled on an East facing slope around 11,150ft BTL height of snow was 60-75cm with about 15-20cm of new snow.

Avalanche

SS-N-R2D2 West facing ATL (12,400-12,000) on upper Hendrick gulch off Abrams Mtn. Looks to have ran on the ground. Debris did not appear to have reached the main drainage.
