Great day out in Hermit area. We skied mellow terrain near the descent of sifton traverse. Great snow condition, no signs of avalanches. We digged a snowpit (east aspect, 37 deg.) no results on CT, snowpack was about 170 cm. Temperature was -4 deg.C, good visiblity in the afternoon, good snow conditions above 1700m (no crust)
