Very shallow snow pack for this time of year. We battled with lots of brush and thin covered rocks. It was very easy to punch through the new snow and old crust into the 30-50cm of rotten facets. Facets made for soft skiing but made it very easy to sink down to hidden obstacles. Would recommend seeking areas with more snow covering these facets for good skiing.
