We rode heartstrings, and it was deeep, light and fluffy the whole way down to the trail. Trail could use another dump to cover the rocks. Observed old Avi debris at 1850 on the uptrack to Heartstrings. Looked to be about size 1.5 starting in the steep rocky slopes above the skin track. Had fresh 5cm ; so was likely part of the xmas storm cycle. Could not see any crown. No whomphing, shooting cracks or signs of instability observed. Some minor wind slabbing observed in the alpine.
