Vulture Peak avalanche

Large size 3.5 to 4 natural avalanche occurred off the North side of Vulture Peak 3 to 5 days ago. The avalanche failed on the basal facets at the glacier ice interface. Debris covered the normal Bow Hut approach route and ran down as far as the top of the canyon leading up to Bow Hut.
