Emerald cornice / wind slab conditions

Dropped a large pice of cornice (Motorcycle size) at ridge top onto the potently wind loaded E/SE face of emerald with no results but entrainment. Skiing was great. Snowpack is right side up with 30 cm of blower on top. Cornice was stubborn - un-reactive. Don’t worry I used a rope…
