Begbie Shoulder

45cm storm snow is consolidating into a slab over surface hoar. Steep, unsupported terrain was shearing down 45cm from ski cuts and travelling rapidly. We avoided steep slopes and any wind affected slopes, and stayed in more supported terrain features. Be cautious as the slab properties continue to develop. While we saw a few meters of propagation, this could increase significantly with continued snow load and warming. The snow was amazing! Super fun skiing and overhead powder to be had in lower angle slopes.
