Great day near the Crags. Super good snow, no concerning signs that we saw. Didn’t notice any cracking, whumpfing, some sloughing on steeper features, new snow was light and fluffy. Still some sharks under the new snow though. Tempting to go full speed but even around 1800-1900m there was still branches and logs poking out enough to grab you if you weren’t careful.

Did a couple hand shear tests and things seemed pretty well bonded. New snow was still pretty unconsolidated and only got resistant results on the shear.
