Evidence of a large (older) wet cycle from past days warmth. Mostly observed from Connaught on our way up to Ursus Minor. The snow that fell after the warm up is cakey, well settled and bonded. No signs of instability on loaded supported pockets. Rocks are lurking but in general the snow that is there is carrying well and supports skier traffic in most spots. It was a warm day but didn’t negatively affect the snow. Below 2000m the skiing is on 10cms of wet pow overlying a hard a very supportive crust. The exit trail is surprisingly good most of the way. The last part of the trail has succumbed to some serious melting with lots of rocks and dirt patches showing, a bit sketchy.
