Collier North face

Good snow and skiing on Collier N face today. There is a lot of variability in snow depth on this face, as expected, with bare glacier ice on much of it. We attempted a line that was well filled in with good snow, but turned around about midway up the face when the snow became shallow and rotten feeling. We dug a pit at our turnaround spot (HS ~1m, 35 degree slope angle). CTM 14 (RP) down 40 on small facets x2. ECTP 14.
