While apparently others in the area did not see any signs of instabilities, we saw plenty. We ripped out numerous small pockets including some that propagated up 25m. The recent 20ish cm storm snow is not bonding well with the wind/ temperature crust below it. HS was 90 cm in Sheltered treeline elevations. Riding conditions were just “acceptable” on most aspects while the snowpack did not inspire confidence. Heads up hockey is recommended, let’s see what the incoming storms can deliver.
