Sherbrooke Lake

We went to check out the ogden bench hoping it would be sheltered from the winds... It wasn't. The wind was blowing in the valley from the SE and it didn't take long to find wind slabs. A few cm of snow had fallen overnight but the wind has caused significant drifting and was filling in our skin track almost as fast as we made it. We saw a few loose dry avalanches come off Ogden and avi debris in a few of the slide paths that we suspect slid overnight. We turned around after crossing the first few run out zones and went to Narao Glades instead. Quality of skiing wasn't great at Ogden and Narao Glades turned out to be a much better option.
