Core lodge area

Dug a pit and fond 390 cm of snow halfway up the mountain. There was a significant ice layer at 55 cm ice that was ~1.5 cm thick that appeared. Another layer was observed at 70 cm. While two distinct layers were observed the snow was consolidated and did not react at the layers. We skied steep terrain and do not notice any issues. There was ~1-2 cm of fresh snow on top of a crust.
