Murchison Falls

Approach slopes were tedious slog up hard 8cm crust covered in 5cm fresh that alternated between being supportive and dropping you into bottomless facets. Topped out at 1600. -9 Degrees. Light swirling wind. No blowing snow. Ice is healed over and hard. Not a freebie in current conditions. Temps were pleasant for most of the day, except at the top out when it felt the coldest.
