Cathedral Mountain

Skied Mount Cathedral today Apr 24 up and down the standard route. Good overnight freeze down to the parking lot. Found a suspicious but adequate ice bridge to cross the creek in the AM, rock hopped a different spot in the PM. Evidence of recent loose-wet slides to 2 in the coulior and from overhead passing under the steep solar cliff above the coulior. Found 10-20cm of good powder over a solid crust on the glacier and summit ridge with minimal wind affect. We were able to ski to the summit without needing ski crampons. Found good corn in the coulior in early afternoon, with snow deteriorating below that point. ~10 degrees on return to the parking lot.
