Dome Dome and beyond

Some minor gear failure resulted in a shorter day and a snowpit. See pic for deets! Poking around for some sheltered terrain from wind, which was tricky. NE wind strong. Blowing constant at 30-35km/h and gusting higher at top of dome, rallying down mountain, could feel windslab forming on S faces throughout the day, some significantly lower than you'd generally expect.

Higher winds at ridgetop than we anticpated after looking at a few forecasts. NAM seems to be capturing the current conditons best.
