15-30 cm of new snow (varied due to wind transport) on top of wind slab. Warmer weather than in Waterton village; nice break from recent cold. Snow felt stable while skiing down, but some storm slabs were beginning to form in places. Variable conditions with some nice powdery sections, mixed with a few thinner spots where you could feel slab or crust underneath. Overall some nice riding to be found.
Snowpack
Windslab CT28 resistant planar failure on the 100cm layer. Second compression test had a similar failure at 32 but a non-planar break.
