Skied the 'West Nile' trees below Bow Peak between 2100-1850m. Snow depth was 160-180cm at 1950m. Stability was surprisingly good fine where we skied (no cracks, slabs, etc.) and that includes steeper parts that were pushing 30 degrees. We stayed far below the alpine bowls above, and did not attempt to ski any of the steeper convex rolls at treeline. We heard a couple of large whumps while skinning on the flats near Bow River however nothing as soon as we gained some elevation above the valley bottom. Snowed ~1cm throughout the day.
