One whumph was felt by a member of our group around his sled. Maybe more of a localized event. One old natural wind slab was seen on a NE aspect at 2000m on a steep open face. Storm snow was CTE dn.15cm on wind slab RP, 1900m, West aspect, 20deg. slope. Hs195. Surface Hoar later found at bottom of our pit at 125cm dn and fail RP ON CTH 27. We felt that with previous sign of instability and with more slope angle result our results may have been sudden. So we stayed to lower angle terrain.
