First time at Black Prince and the snow was UNREAL. We originally stayed very far right off the original trail - and instead of going into the meadow area that seats all the mountains in front of you, we stayed right. The trees were open, and there was a very long run that we hiked up just under a peak. There wasn’t any slabs, and the snow quality was incredible. The further we hiked up (not a lot of tracks), the more beautiful it got. Skied back down in the trees which were open and fluffy with powder. Untouched in most areas. We then went to the center meadow Ed area and skinned up under the glacier. Passed compression tests and no hoar - thick powder. Beautiful line all the way down, only one other set of tracks. Could not have asked for a better powder day.
