Just the tip of the Gorge

Today was our first Gorge experience thanks to Brad A! We headed up from 15km parking area towards the bowls. We did a test profile below the lunch bench a tree line on a 35 deg. NNW facing slope We found the surface Hoar dn 50cm, and Crust at 75cm and 87cm. Results are as follows: CTH 25/27/28, all failing above or on the crust dn 87cm. Faceting between the crusts is bonding well to each other and the crust.
