Snowpack

McClure received 63" of snow with 6.15" of snow water equivalent from Christmas Eve morning to New Years Day at the road summit elevation of 8770'. In the Lone Tree Bowl avalanche path above SH133 there was visible evidence of wind affect with previous southwest winds loading the northeast-facing portion of the start zone.
