Weather
Warm in the AM. 40 degrees In the car at 830. Clouds moved in around ten with strong winds that helped keep the lower elevation snowpack cooler and less sticky.
Snowpack
Skied a North aspect. Found variable snow conditions from breakable wind slab To firm wind board to soft sastrugi. Only notable concern was sections of windslab breaking between different skiers tracks that could cause a potential sloughing hazard in steep terrain. Lower elevation solar aspects were heavy and crusty. Still waiting for the new snow to settle into a corn cycle again. Saw a large rollerball on the exit out of the lake Helene trail on a BTL east aspect.
