Weather

mostly bluebird skies with some high clouds moving in during the afternoon. sporadic winds of 5-10 mph increased throughout the day to gusts of 10-20 by the time we ducked back down to lower elevations. temps hung around the mid-20s for most of the day here.

Snowpack

dug pit on 32° N aspect @ 10480' BTL site was just below a ridgeline that was seeing wind loading throughout our visit HS averaged 250 cm 2 CTNs 1 ECTX repeated prying on all our test columns yielded reluctant failures > 100 cm down on 1F/P slabs. numerous hasty shallow pits throughout tour wouldn't budge without significant effort
