Weather

High clouds began to move in late morning and covered most of the sky by early afternoon. Southwest winds were moderate and gusty all day, but weren't moving any snow, even in the alpine. Temperatures were warm, in the 50's at pass level.

Snowpack

Highway paths south of Silverton are largely melted out. West Lime Creek, Champion and the Jenny Parkers are still holding snow, but no longer pose a threat to the highway. Snow from the last storm has melted away and left a dark dust layer in it's place.
