The day started warm with 0 degree at the parking. It was cloudy and mostly calm. In the ascent we conducted multiple snowpack tests. We skied mellow slopes and progressed into a bit steeper well supported slope.

The snow surface was soft and only wind affected close to ridge top. We did not observe any signs of instability or recent avalanche activity. The riding quality was very good. We conducted a series of tests on a NW aspect at 1900 m with non repeatable and inconclusive results on a thin crust down 55 cm and the early Nov Friday down 120 cm. A deep tap test on the early Nov crust gave no result. On a NE aspect at 1950 m we did another set of tests with moderate to hard results with sudden character down 120 cm within the conglomerate of early Nov crust. No result on the weak and thin crust down 55 cm.
