Nice day out. Noticeable wind slab coming up between Fairview and saddleback. Cross loading and cement-like skinning as we gained some elevation behind Fairview. Rode well into the valley. Marginal skinning to the pass but skin up the pass was “surprisingly” easy. No signs of recent avalanche activity, noticed some snowballing along the way and some light sluffing on the ride down. Skied better than expected. Exited around the left side of the lake as parts of lake Louise were open water near the back of the lake.
