Pit test on ridge above Narnia and above Beta Lake indicated 10cm Crust with persistent slab down 30-40cm. Top 10cm crust producing shears with hand test as well as at 30-40cm. Skiers weight above pit showed top 10cm crust cracking / shearing and releasing very easily. Moved to mellow slopes into Beta Lake and stayed away from steeper aspects. Snow in Beta and Sentinel area had top layer crust tricky to make turns.
