On Saturday, ski cut of a wind-loaded slope produced a size 1.5-2 soft slab avalanche that then stepped down another ~20 cm. Initial failure plane is suspected to be hard bed surface from Jan 31-Feb 1 avalanche cycle. Triggered by third skier on slope. On Sunday, Size 1 avalanches were also easily triggered on a 30 degree convex feature at treeline on N-facing slopes above hut that previously slid as well. Excellent skiing at treeline, however use caution on reloaded slopes, especially with the presence of terrain traps.
