Snowpack

Traveled on northwest, north, and northeast aspects. Got near treeline on a northwest aspect and encountered thin wind-slabs and surface crust in more westerly-facing areas. Overall, the snowpack is shallower on the east side of the canyon (as usual). Some shallow zones had weak, non-cohesive snow that will be suspect during our next storm - especially if traveling on steeper slopes. Temperatures were warm and everything except dead north was getting wet in the upper snowpack.
