Intermittently snowing lightly and sometimes sunny. Wind from the west.

Snowpack

Below treeline we didn’t find any slabs. As we climbed above TL the snow stiffened up. (It was still great powder skiing). Dug a pit on a NE facing slope at the top of a ridge that had blown in. Over 6’. The new snow was sitting on a suncrust and not bonding. Below that were two other clean shears. We kept angles down and whooped and hollered.
