Weather

cloudy with light percipitation starting in early afternoon. light winds throughout tour. temps in low teens to mid twenties.

Snowpack

dug a pit on a 28 degree W aspect in upper storm king creek drainage at approximately 9900 ft elevation. total snow depth was 95 cm. compression test result: CTN extended column test result: ECTX continued reefing on both test columns eventually produced failures approximately 80 cm from surface.

no avalanches observed. no woomphing or cracking noticed.
